Bethany loves Jesus, her family, and teaching! She felt God’s call to a ministry with students while in college, received her Bachelor’s degree in English Education from the University of Georgia in 2005, and then taught high school English and coached cross country in Gwinnett County for ten years. While teaching, she met her fellow adventurer and best friend, Chad (also an English teacher), and they have been married since 2008. They have two precious children—Tallulah and Judah. As a family, their favorite place to be is out West on a summer-long camping trip or hiking up the creek in their own neighborhood. In her free time, Bethany loves to run, cook, or catch up with a friend over a cup of coffee!
