Mu Eta Sigma math honor society

β€œThe purpose of Mu Eta Sigma is to recognize and encourage mathematical excellence and scholarship among homeschool students. To achieve this purpose Mu Eta Sigma shall encourage annual community service which will allow students to interact with others and develop leadership skills, as well as exhibit a servant-like attitude. Mu Eta Sigma recognizes that mathematical excellence is a valuable and needed skill and will promote homeschool students to seek opportunities to interact with the general public, seek future opportunities to exercise analytical skills and ultimately bring glory to God, the giver of all knowledge.” SGA parents have the responsibility to pursue membership for your student if you so desire. A local SGA chapter is not required.

National Society of High School Scholars

NSHSS is an honor society that recognizes top academic achievers (public, private, and homeschool) from high schools around the world. Its mission is to recognize academic excellence among high school students and to encourage members to apply their unique talents, vision, and potential for the betterment of themselves and the world. We recommend this honor society as it encourages home education and does not put unnecessary requirements on our students. Parents can nominate their own students and a local SGA chapter is not required.
