Cathy is married to Brian and together they have three incredible daughters, Katelyn, Haley, and Rylee.  She graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught for ten years in DeKalb County until the birth of her first child.  She became a full-time homemaker in 1997. Upon their decision to homeschool she was elated to be combining two of her biggest passions---being a mom and teaching. Teaching at Scholars Guild continues to be a “joy” to her in every way.  Cathy thoroughly enjoys the students and is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve alongside the godly staff and the families at Scholars Guild Academy. In her free time, she enjoys her quiet time with the Lord, having a good cup of coffee with lots of cream, working out, serving in her church, and hanging out with her family.
